Having her first friend over to the house
Caitlynn is having her first friend over to the house. One of the couples from Amanda's work is bring over their daughter to play with Caitlynn after church on Sunday. She is only two weeks older than Caity, so this will be the first time she has played with someone her own age. I plan on taking pictures and videos for all you Caity enthusiast. We get to work on sharing and playing together now. She's still working on that one. She snatched a toy out of another baby's hands at church this past Sunday, and screamed bloody murder when the child took her toy back. Ah, the joys of parenthood. I love our Caity.

She stood up by her self!
Caity actually stood by herself for about 5 seconds. She didn't have ahold of anything. Pretty soon she is up running around. I can't believe how much she has grown. She laughs so much! She loves to talk, and makes sure you know she's in the room. She has become very aware of every noise and recognizes what they are too. When the heavy footed people are walking around up stairs, she looks up at the ceiling with a confused look as if she feels the same way we do. When some one knocks on the front door, she runs (crawls quickly) to the door with an excited look to see who is on the other side. We have been working on her really hard with waiving high and bye. She's almost got it down pat. We feel really proud to have such a beautifl daughter in everyway.

Caitlynn's and the Angels

Yesterday Cait got to go outside and play in the snow for the first time. She was a little nervous at first, but soon realized the awesomeness of it all and dove right in. She got to lay down and make snow angels with the neighbor kids, and toss some snow around as well. It was really great to be outside playing with her and enjoying some good family time together.

Her First New Years- Welcome to 2010

Can you believe what year it is? 2010...This was the first New Year's for Caitlynn and we got the chance to spend it with some friend from out Life Groups from James River Assembly. It was her first New Year's and turn of the decade. What's going to happen this year that will define it for her? What is going to be written in the history books about 2010? It's kinda exciting to think about. What will our kids read about in books about things that happened in "our day"?
